Murder by the Book: An After-Hours Library Mystery

Friday, October 30, 2026 | 6:00–8:30 PM

Join the Pennsauken Free Public Library for a special after-hours reception celebrating one year in our new library!

But this won't be an ordinary anniversary celebration...

For the evening, you'll enter the fictional world of Murder by the Book, where our guest of honor is Theodore Worthington, a prominent rare book collector, library benefactor, and generous supporter whose contributions helped make the new library possible.

The evening begins with a celebration honoring the Library's first anniversary and recognizing Mr. Worthington's generosity. But before the celebration is over, something goes terribly wrong...

Six eccentric guests become the prime suspects. Everyone has a motive. Everyone has a secret. But only one is guilty. Somewhere among the bookshelves are the clues needed to crack the case.

Work with your fellow detectives to search for clues, uncover secrets, question the suspects, and determine:

WHO killed Theodore Worthington? WHERE did it happen? And WHAT was used?

Light refreshments will be served.
