Open to all Artists presently living in Pennsauken or Merchantville Adults and Students in Grades 8-12. PHYSICAL ART must be delivered to the Pennsauken Free Public Library (Friends of Library Office). Art show will be happening Thursday, April 16, 2026 (6:00 and 8:00 pm) and Friday, April 17, 2026 (12:00 and 5:00 pm)
4/20: Movie & Munch: (Adults): Join the FOL for an Academy Award-winning movie. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch but the Friends will have snacks and drinks.
4/10, 1-4pm:  Open Switch Play (Ages 8+) Enjoy a fun and relaxed time playing Nintendo Switch games with friends. Try different games, challenge others, and have a great time gaming together.
4/13 Graphic Novel Discussion (Teens and Adults): We’ll discuss “Sensory: Life on the Spectrum : An Autistic Comics Anthology.” A colorful and eclectic anthology exploring a wide range of autistic experiences-from diagnosis journeys to finding community. Our 26th Annual Mary Levin Poetry Contest is coming up soon, open to Pennsauken and Merchantville poets from kindergarten through twelfth grade and adults. An information trifold for the Poetry Contest is now available at the library or connect electronically to a Google form: https://tinyurl.com/folpoetry2026. Submission deadline is Friday, May 1st at 5 p.m. Winners will be notified by phone and must attend the Awards Presentation on Wednesday, June 3rd in the Library’s Cultural Center.

4/1, 4/8, 4/18, 4/25 & 4/29:  Evening Yoga (Adults): Join yoga instructor Brigid Brennin each Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm for this fun Evening Yoga class.
Sensory Storytime (All Ages): Young children with special needs are invited to join Miss Lynn for short stories, songs, sensory, and social skills. No registration required
DIY Saturday Door Hanger (Teens & Adults): Create your own Door Hanger in this fun DIY workshop! Perfect for adding a cute touch to your home this spring or any room. Participants must register in person, and a $5 registration fee is due at sign-up.

4/7, 4/14, 4/21 & 4/28: Line Dancing (Teens/Adults): We are excited to welcome instructor Rasheed Bellamy and his "Can You Kick It, Yes You Can" line dance class Tuesdays in April! Get ready to groove while learning new dance moves.
April 17th, 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, June 26th. FOL Chair Yoga (Adults) These hybrid classes will be held virtually via Zoom and in person at the library’s Cultural Center (2nd Floor). 4/24, 5/8, 5/29, 6/26: Spring Wellness Sessions (Adults): The Friends of the Library are sponsoring a series of adult wellness workshops led by instructor Michelle Carlino. Each session can be attended individually and covers important topics for health and well-being. Classes will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, following the yoga session. 5/3: 1pm-3pm. Afternoon Tea @ the Library (Adults): We are pleased to present our fifth annual afternoon tea, featuring a special presentation for attendees to enjoy. Space is limited, and there is a $10 registration fee.

To honor this once-in-a-generation moment, the library is excited to begin planning a series of programs and activities that will invite our community to reflect on the past, engage with the present, and imagine the future.
