New Jersey’s Access Navigator Program, New Service Begins in January

Access Navigator, Rayel Sample, will join the library on Thursdays beginning in January - April 2023.

From assistance with resumes, cover letters, and job searching to help with computer-based applications and electronic learning aids, the Access Navigators program aims to provide individualized assistance for patrons. Anyone who would like to participate in the program will begin with a guided assessment to identify goals and then create a step-by-step plan to meet them. Appointments with Rayel will be available beginning January 12, 2023. Please call the library at 856.665.5959, ext. 3 to schedule an appointment.

“We are delighted to participate in this program and to welcome our Access Navigator, Rayel Sampler, to Pennsauken,” Library Director Tanya Finney Estrada remarked. “This program will allow us to enhance our services to the community by providing one-on-one support for patrons who need these resources and skills.” The Access Navigators Program is funded through the American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) funds, received by the New Jersey State Library (NJSL), through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
