Children's Services provides programs and materials for patrons from birth through age 13. This includes regular story hours for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers; a book club for Tweens, and regularly scheduled craft and entertainment programs. All programs are designed to reinforce a love of reading and learning, and help further develop literacy skills.

"Twas the Night Before Summer" - June 20th 2008. Join us on the last night of spring in this nationwide event. At 7pm, after the library has closed, you are invited to this magical family event where we will read a very special story about the coming of the summer. Afterwards, we'll make our own wings so we can fly away and enjoy the treats of a magical land. Please register at the circulation desk.

Summer Reading will run from Monday July 14th through Friday August 15th. Registration will occur on Friday July 11th from 10 am - 6 pm.
Spend time reading this summer and you could win a personal pizza party in the Library Community Room. We've also got live bugs, dead bugs, storytellers, experiments and Wild Men. Check out the calendar for all of the programs and events!
Unable to make it into the library? Participate at home! Each week new activities will be posted and of course you will have your own reading log.

Question of the Week Email Miss Colleen with the answer for a chance to win a prize. Check back next Friday for the answer. Which bug has been around for the longest time?
