Book ReviewsThe Boy Who Lost His Face Reviewed by Fatmata, Age 13 I know most of the kids have read this book but if you have not I recommended that you read it because it is very funny and you won't want to put it down. this book is about David trying to be cool when he helps some of the populaar kids steal old lady Bayfield's cane. but when the plan backfires he's the one the "old witch" curses. Now David can't seem to do anything right. the popular kids taunt him, and his only friends are freaks. he even walks into class with his fly unzipped! And when he finally gets up the nerve to ask out a girl, his pants fall down. Can David brake the curse or will he be cursed forever? you have to read and find out yourself.
High School Musical the Junior Novelization Reviewed by Rachel, Age 10 The book High School Musical is based on the hit Disney channel original movie. Until Troy met Gabriella, his big dream was to win the basketball championship. But ever since they sang Karaoke together o New Year's Eve, Troy can't get his mind off trying out for the lead of the school musical - with Gabriella as his partner! Gabriella is struggling too. The Scholastic Decathlon team could really use her help, but it would be more fun to sing with Troy again. All their friends say it's a bad idea and that Troy and Gavriella should "stick to the status quo."
The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes: Reach for The Stars The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes Reach for the Stars was very good because Abby Hayes is a very confident girl. She is spontaneous and a curious 5th grader. In this book she is trying out for a big part in her school play Peter Pan. When she auditions she feels a little nervous. It turns out that she does not get the part she wanted. Do you think she will go on with the play? Ruby Lu, Brave and True
The book I just read was Ruby Lu, Brave and True written by Lenore Look and illustrated by Anne Wilsdorff. I think kids should read Ruby Lu, Brave and True because Ruby Lu is a wild, fun, talented little second grader. She just loves to do magic but is still in training by Mr. Tupahotu. I hope that I convinced you to read Ruby Lu, Brave and True.
