About the Library

Serving the citizens of the Greater Pennsauken region the Pennsauken Free Public Library vows to strive to provide a solid array of learning materials, information services and leisure resources in order to support and improve individual, family and community life.

To support this aim, your Pennsauken Free Public Library will organize, manage and disseminate its resources to:

  • Make sure that the library's resources are made available to our constituency
  • Promote the utilization of the physical library and the cyber-library
  • Assist young people with life-long learning
  • Promote literacy for all ages
  • Assist people in finding jobs and educational opportunities
  • Assist businesses with their development and growth
  • Act as the library, archive, and public information center for the Municipality of Pennsauken
  • Act in tandem with the local educational community to assist, support and enrich curriculum and course offerings to students of all ages
  • Provide all types of current information
  • Provide leisure reading resources, audio/visual materials and programs of interest for a diversified population
  • Provide the Pennsauken public with a modern physical library building complete with solid technological infrastructure that allows for accessibility from home and work
