Memorials and Gifts

The Pennsauken Free Public Library is pleased to accept gifts of money or new items as a memorial or other rememberance.

Please follow the simple instruction below to honor a loved one, friend or special occassion with a gift to the Pennsauken Public Library.

• Make a contribution in person at the Pennsauken Public Library Circulation Desk.
• Fill out this form and mail to:

You may specify that we use your donation for specific types of items such as books, audio/visual materials, magazine subscriptions, furniture, equipment, special program funds, or general library use.

Gifts of books or other materials that are not appropriate for the Pennsauken Public Library's Collection may not be added to the collection.

When possible we will acknowledge your donation by:

• Sending a card to the individual or family notifying them that a gift or memorial has been made by you.
• Sending a card to you acknowledging your donation
• Placing a bookplate in the material listing the person in whose memory or honor the donation was made and that of the donor. A plaque may be affixed to furniture or equipment.

Unfortunately, we can not provide reciepts for tax purposes.

A donation in any amount is gratefully accepted. The following is only a guideline as to the average cost of an item:

• Book: $20 - $30
• Audiobook: $30 - $60
• DVD: $15 - $30
• Music CD: $10 - $20
• Magazine: $20-$30
